Institute of International Relations

The Institute of International Relations, established in 1976, is the country’s first academic institution, combining high quality research with teaching. It represents an interdisciplinary study integrating diverse approaches derived from political theory, sociology, law, history and economics.

Institute is a part of prestigious University of Warsaw.

  • Centre for Contemporary India Research and Studies (Programme: EU India Action Plan Support Facility; ASIE/2009/215-062; value of the grant: 270 000 euro; The institute was the leader of the project)
  • The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7). Project Title: India-EU Joint House for Science and Innovation. Value of the grant 519 000 euro. The institute is a partner in the project.
  • The 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7 – Marie Curie). Project title: Post-USSR Tensions. The institute is a partner in the project.
  • Network on Humanitarian Assistance (NOHA)
