ENROLLMENTS STEPS

  1. On-line registration of applicants via the system of Internet Registration of Candidates at https://irk.uw.edu.pl/?change_lang=en
  2. Choosing the program from the Graduate Programme in International Relations catalogue at International relations – Studies in English
  3. Payment of the application fee
  4. Qualification interview conducted in EnglishForm of examination:
    • qualification interview in English language

    Examination issues:

    • fluency in English,
    • international political relations,
    • international economic relations,
    • public international law.

    The interviews will be held at the Institute of International Relations (Zurawia 4 street, Warsaw) or through SKYPE.

    The forth round of admission has been opened and it will be finished on the 17th of July 2018.

    Date of exam: July 19-20, 2018.
    Announcement of results: July 24th, 2018.

APPLICATION FEE:

For payments in Polish zloty (80 PLN) please use personal bank account created by the IRK system.
Candidate may make payment in EUR or USD using foreign currency bank accounts numbers.The amount of the application fee is based on the monthly average exchange rate established by the National Bank of Poland (NBP)*.

 

 

DEADLINES:

LIST OF THE DOCUMENTS:

  1. After the exam, the qualified candidates in order to finalize the enrollment procedure need to provide the Institute with the following documents (originals or scans, scans can be submitted via the IRK website or sent to international.office.ism@uw.edu.pl or linda.masalska@uw.edu.pl ) :
      • Application for admission (printed from irk.uw.edu.pl and signed, it should consist of 2 pages of which the second one will be the application for issuing the student’s ID);
      • The higher education diploma (MA, BA, engineer diploma or equivalent) with a full list of grades obtained during the course of study, entitling to continue university-level study in country in which the diploma was issued
        • a legalisation / authorisation of above-mentioned documents (or apostille if the document was issued by an institution operating in the educational system in a country that was a member of the Hague Convention of 5th of October, 1961 abolishing the requirement of legalizing foreign official documents)
        • a document stating that the certificate / diploma entitles to undertake or continue university-level study in country in which the certificate / diploma was issued (such proof should be issued or certified by the school or educational institution which issued the certificate / diploma or by educational authorities of the country which issued the certificate / diploma or in which system of education the school operates)
        • Original sworn translations into Polish language or English language of all the documents listed above
  2. On arrival to Poland (until October 1) additional documents must be submitted:
    • The original of the higher education diploma (recognized and/or legalized) with a full list of grades obtained during the course of study, entitling to continue university-level study in country in which the diploma was issued with a sworn translation into Polish or English
    • Photocopy of the entry visa to Poland or other relevant document confirming the stay in the territory of Poland ;
    • A health certificate stating that there are no objections to undertake studies by a foreign candidate (if the health certificate was issued in a foreign language, a sworn translation into Polish or English language) (only for persons with the citizenship other than Polish);
