Lessons Learned from 15 Missions Around the World.

Our guest participated in all important military operations and missions since the beginning of the 90s., incuding:
⚪ UNIFIL (Lebanon) 1991, 1996, 2000 and 2010,
⚪ RWANDA (NGO assistance) 1994,
⚪ SFOR (Bosnia Herzegovina) 2000, 2001, 2003,
⚪ AUFOR (Darfur, Sudan) 2004, 2005,
⚪ KFOR (Kosovo) 2006,
⚪ EUFOR (Bosnia Herzegovina) 2008, 2009, 2010,
⚪ ISAF (Afghanistan) 2014 and
⚪ EUTM MALI (he came back in March 2017).

Lt Col Markey has recently completed Investigative Training with UN and International Criminal Court (ICC) in Amman, Jordan in 2015 and with NATO (Senior Officers Military Police Course) in Bydgoszcz, Poland in 2016. Previously (1997) completed International Humanitarian Law Course for Military Commanders at San Remo, Italy. He spent three years, 1996-1999, as Delegate to the Armed Forces with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Chechnya and Central Asia (military career break). He also deployed as a Military Observer with the African Union in Darfur, Sudan for 12 months.
