International Conference: Realism and the Great Powers’ Politics in Europe and the Asia-Pacific – photo gallery
The international conference titled Realism and the Great Powers’ Politics in Europe and the Asia-Pacific took place on December 11th , 2015 at the University of Warsaw’s Library.
The conference was organized by the Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Polish Association of International Studies and the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation.
The conference was opened by Professor Marta Kicińska-Habior, Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw and Professor Edward Haliżak, Director of the Institute of International Relations. The conference was attended by eminent scholars from the United States, Europe, India, China, Russia, Ukraine, including: Prof. John J. Mearsheimer, Prof. Peter J. Katzenstein, Prof. Andrew Hurrell, Prof. Knud E. Jorgensen, Prof. Biwu Zhang, Prof. Arvind Kumar, Prof. Shantanu Chakrabarti. It attracted nearly 200 participants (scholars, students, representatives of think-tanks, governments, former ambassadors).
