A graduate of the Consular Department of the Trade Academy in Cracow and the School of Political Science at Jagiellonian University (1949). Ph.D. in Economics (1958). D.Litt. (1962). Professor Extraordinarius since 1972; Professor Ordinarius since 1978. Employed at the Institute of International Relations since 1980. Doctor Honoris Causa of the Academy of Economics in Cracow (1994).
