Delegation of Institute of International Relations visit in St. Petersburg as a part of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs grant | 7-9.12.2017 | Photo report

On 7th – 9th Decmber 2017  delegation of our Institute (prof.  Jakub Zajączkowski, prof. Edward Haliżak and Linda Masalska) visited School of International Relations at Saint Petersburg State University. Visit was held as a part of prestigious Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs grant titled Polish-Russian Forum on Polish and Central Europe Studies. During this visit  ISM’s delegation met Ekaterina Babelyuk (Senior Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs), prof. Irina Novikova (Dean of School of International Relations) and prof. Konstantin Khudoley (manager of the Chair of European Studies).  During the meetings participants were debating on their academic plans for 2018. They also planned next polish-russian seminars about contemporary international problems and challenges and also they decided to intensify students and professors exchange between our Universities.
On 8th December Prof. Edward Haliżak and dr hab. Jakub Zajączkowski took part in meeting of scientific council of Insitute of European Studies. On December 8th ISM’s delegation had a pleasure to take part in joint roundtable titled  Poland, EU, Russia and the Evolution of New International Order and present their papers:

During the visit in Petersburg our delegation also met with Anna Łazar (acting Director of Polish Institute in St. Petersburg) and Andrzej Chodkiewicz (Consul General of the Republic of Poland in St. Petersburg).
